CTR, Clicks and Impressions
Hi Everyone
We started our campaign on May 1st after a detailed analysis of the adwords, adgroups and campaign strategies. But once we started our campaign, our strategy proved to be wrong. The impressions are very high and clicks are low. The CTR was struggling at 0.25 - 0.35%. It took us five days of experimenting with various keywords, adgroups, campaign strategies to realize our mistake and finalize on a particular strategy which proved to be working well..We are getting a CTR of 2-4% but the average is 0.63% - kudos to the low CTR and high impression during the first 5 days. How about everyone else. I request all you guys to share your experiences so that everyone gets an idea where they stand...

Hi,
For our team, we ran the adwords with three campaigns. And we were advertising for a travel portal website in Malaysia. The three campaigns were advertising for three different travel destinations.
Averagely, two of our campaigns have an average CTR of 1.0-1.8%. The third campaign was more successful, due to the lower competition, and has an average CTR of 4.5-5.8%.
And we realized that the content network generates very high impressions.
It would be interesting to hear how other groups have fared. : ]
